Serge Gainsbourg - La Vague a Lame

(Okay, this is a tuff one but I'll try do to my best... Serge plays on words a lot with their meaning as well as their pronunciation, so bear with me...
"La vague a lame" is a play on "la vague a l'ame". "Vague a l'ame" is a French expression that means, "to have vague yearnings", so when he says "vague a lame" he plays with the word "vague" ="wave" or "unclear" and the word "lame"= "blade" or "wave"... Basically, I really don't know how to translate this title! I think he means "unclear wave"?. What's for sure is that he is describing a kind of sad mood or feeling. So consider this translation as a draft because I will have to work more on it.)

Because some of the lyrics are originally in English, I put them in italic text.

To day I have an unclear wave
I don't know why
I feel my heart on a blade
Of a cold wave
Am I in the no-
Man's land who knows
Or in the no-way
Nobody knows

If we play truly
Or else over play
O.K. O.K. yeah

I swim in cloudy
Water I know
That it's not happy
From my ca-
Noe I see go away
My two oars
O.K. O.K. yeah
On enamel
Or on coral
Am I going to run aground
Unclear wave
Maybe a soul breeze
Springs a blade
Of a knife it turns to drama
Swimming in water
I have a fever
of the tropical swamps
Shivers in the back
I feel myself frozen
Of horror to not loving you anymore
O.K. O.K. yeah
On enamel
Or on coral
Am I going to run aground
Unclear wave
Maybe a soul breeze
Springs a blade
Of a knife it turns to drama
On enamel
Or on coral
Am I going to run aground
Who knows
