Le Tourbillion De La Vie - The Whirl/Swirl of Life -

She had rings on each fingers,
A bunch of bracelets around her wrists,
And besides she sang with a voice
that, as soon (as she heard it), wheeled me.

She had eyes, eyes of opal,
That fascinated me, that fascinated me.
There was the oval of her pale face
Of "femme fatale" (fatal woman) that was fatal to me [2x].

We met (to know someone), we recognized each other,
We lost sight of each other, we lost sight of each other again
We found each other again , we warmed each other up,
Then we separated

Each one of us left
In the whirl (swirl) of life
I saw her again one evening, aie, aie, aie (ouch, ouch, ouch)
It has already been a while [2x].

At the sound of banjos I recognized her.
This curious smile that pleased me so much.
Her voice so fatal, her beautiful (pretty) pale face
Touched (moved) me more than ever.

I got drunk (while) listening to her.
Alcohol makes forget the time.
I woke up feeling
Kisses on my burning forehead [2x].

We met, we recognized each other,
We lost sight of each other, we lost sight of each other again
We found each other again, we warmed each other up,
Then we separated

Each one of us left
In the whirl (swirl) of life
I saw her again one evening, a, la, la
She fell back into my arms. [2x].

When we met each other,
When we recognized each other,
Why loosing sight of each other
Loosing sight of each other again?

When we found each other again,
When we warmed each other up,
Why separate?

Therefore both of us left back again
In the whirl (swirl) of life
We continued to turn
Both of us embraced (hugging/intertwined - in each other's arms). [x3]
